Weather in December

If you are looking to escape the harsh December temperatures at home then you may enjoy Malta in December! Whilst it is cooler than November and there will be some rainy days, the average daily temperature is still a nice and mild 18ºC  (64.4°F).

There are still many sunny days in December, and whilst you may not be able to spend long days at the beach and swimming in the sea, you will certainly be able to enjoy visiting some of the wonderful cultural and historical sights that Malta has to offer.

You should pack some warmer clothes as the temperature does get cooler in the evening and there can often be some strong winds that make the temperature feel colder. However, you will want to pack a t shirt as well as when the sun is shining it will feel lovely!
