Weather in March
March is when the temperatures in Malta start creeping up and the rain is less frequent then in January and February. On sunny days holidaymakers will be able to enjoy some time sunbathing, and although the sea will still be fairly cold, it may be pleasant enough to swim in.
With warmer temperatures and less rainfall, March is a perfect month if you are thinking about doing some walking in Malta as the weather will be fair but not as hot as it gets in July and August.
If you are planning on visiting Malta in March, make sure you pack a variety of clothes, as whilst it may be fairly warm on some days, there may be other days where you will need more layers and coats.
