Weather in October
October can be quite unpredictable in Malta and it is one of the rainiest months if you are looking at the monthly average tables. However, the rainfall often occurs over a few stormy days leaving the rest of the month nice and sunny. If you are lucky, you may not catch any rain at all! But if you are looking for a holiday where you spend long days relaxing by the beach then July and August may be better months to visit Malta. If you are hoping to see some of Malta’s wonderful sights then October could be a good month to visit as it will still be warm (average daily temperatures 25ºC/77°F) but not too hot or busy. The beaches that are busy with families in the summer will be nice and quiet and perfect for relaxing on.
If you are visiting in October, it is a good idea to bring some light layers for the evening when it might get a bit chilly.
